ASSET Education Privacy Notice
Please note that this notice does not cover the collection and use of student personal information. ASSET Education is a service provider to the schools that use our content; and designated a School Official as that term is defined in the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act. If you have questions around the collection and use of student personal information, please reach out to the appropriate contact at your institution.

What information do we collect and how do we use it?
For visitors to asset-edu.org, we collect information about your visit, including your device type, source, IP address, browser, and operating system. We are able to see what content is most-popular on our website. We also collect the geographic locations of our visitors. We track what buttons are clicked on, how many times, and the number of form submissions we receive. When we receive a form submission, we also receive your email address so we can respond to your request. We keep an activity log that includes the date, time, visitor IP address, and page(s) clicked on. We use this information to maintain and improve the site, as well as inform how we market our content and to whom.
While visiting the site, you may also provide us with your email address to sign-up for our newsletter. We will only use this information to provide you with our newsletter.
You may also choose to purchase access to our content. To purchase access, you must provide your name, email address, payment information, and billing information. Once you have purchased access, or obtained access via your institution, you may create an account on asset-edu.org, that provides you with access to our content. To create an account, you must provide your name, email address, and generate a password. If you choose to, you may uplodad a profile picture for your account. Through Stripe and Memberspace, we keep track of the date of your purchase to renew membership access according to the plan purchased. We will only use this information to provide you with access to the content, notify you of updates to the content, and communicate with you regarding your account or the content.
With whom will ASSET share personal information?
ASSET Education will not sell your personal information. Nor will we share your personal information for any reason other than those outlined below.
1. We will share your information with third parties that assist us with providing you with the service. These third parties are required to protect your information and are not permitted to use it for any purpose beyond providing the service:
a. SquareSpace: We use SquareSpace to host our domain, provide us with a website template, store our content, generate email marketing campaigns, manage our G-Suite accounts, and create an online store for donation purposes.
b. Mailchimp: We use Mailchimp to host and distribute our newsletter.
c. Stripe: We use Stripe to process and manage content purchases as well as donations.
d. Memberspace: Our content portal is hosted and access managed by MemberSpace
2. If your relationship with ASSET Education is through your institution, we may share information around your use of the web site or services with your institution.
3. We may share your personal information as directed or required by law enforcement or a court of law.
What rights do you have around your personal information?
You may contact ASSET Education at email@example.com to make requests around accessing, changing, or deleting your personal information. If you are a subscriber to our newsletter, you may also opt-out at any time by clicking the appropriate link in the newsletter.
